On December 27, 2022, authorities were dispatched to Ketcham Street in Indianapolis, Indiana, following a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department of an unresponsive individual. The Marion County Coroner's Office was tasked with assisting in the investigation, prompted by the discovery of a 61-year-old white female who was later identified as Sherrie Ann Mercer. She was found unresponsive at the scene, and despite efforts, it was determined that she had passed away.
