On October 18, 1996, an unidentified male was discovered following a vehicle accident on Highway 2 in Orondo, Washington. The victim, later identified as Aquilino Maya Cruz, was severely injured in the incident and promptly transported to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Washington, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
