The male fetus (including placenta and umbilical cord) was found at the Waukesha Sewage Plant by a worker on July 10, 1973. The worker recovered the fetus and took it to a garage area. The coroner arrived and examined the fetus and transferred it to the Waukesha County Morgue for an autopsy.
