On 09/01/2026 at approximately 1200 hours, the decedent was found floating southbound in the Dominguez Channel by golfers who were standing on an elevated surface at Victoria Golf Course, which is adjacent to the canal. 911 was called and the decedent was pronounced dead at scene.
