The McStay Family: A Picture of Suburban Bliss
In early 2010, Joseph and Summer McStay were living what appeared to be a peaceful life in Fallbrook, California, with their two young sons, Gianni and Joseph Jr. Joseph, aged 40, operated Earth Inspired Products, a business specializing in decorative fountains, while Summer, 43, was a licensed real estate agent. A Sudden and Mysterious Disappearance
On February 4, 2010, the McStay family vanished without a trace. A neighbor's surveillance camera captured the bottom portion of a vehicle, believed to be the family's Isuzu Trooper, leaving the driveway around 7:47 p.m. The occupants were not visible. He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through.
