Born on February 19, 1974, in Clarksville, Arkansas, April Beth Pitzer faced numerous challenges from a young age. Raised primarily by relatives, she reunited with her mother, Gloria Denton, at 17. At 22, a DUI arrest led her to become a confidential informant, infiltrating a drug ring to avoid charges. This decision would profoundly impact her future.
Seeking a fresh start, April moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where she married Chase Pitzer and had two daughters. However, her past resurfaced when she was summoned back to Arkansas to testify against the drug ring she had infiltrated. Her testimony led to multiple convictions but also exposed her identity, resulting in paranoia and a bipolar disorder diagnosis. These challenges strained her marriage, leading to divorce and loss of custody of her children.
In 2003, April relocated to Newberry Springs, California, with John Lopez. The relationship ended, leaving her homeless and struggling with untreated bipolar disorder. She confided in her mother about her hardships, expressing a desire to return home. On June 28, 2004, an acquaintance claimed to have dropped her off at a bus station in Newberry Springs for her journey back to Arkansas. She never arrived, and her whereabouts remain unknown.
In September 2004, a cryptic message was found in an Oregon truck stop restroom: "Want to find a missing girl from Arkansas? I-15, 3 miles east of Barstow." This led authorities to search the specified area, but no significant evidence was found. Later, a bus passenger reported overhearing that April had been killed and her body disposed of in a mineshaft, prompting further investigations. on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
