A Close Connection with Her Twin Sister

One of the most striking details to emerge in later reporting about Tina's life was the frequency with which she communicated with her twin sister, Tammy. During the spring of 2017, while Tina was incarcerated for a period of time, she reportedly called her sister regularly. According to a later interview with Tammy, Tina had been thinking about what she would do after her release and discussed possibly living with her sister again. Although no firm arrangement was ultimately made, those conversations established an important pattern: whatever difficulties Tina was experiencing, she normally maintained contact with the people closest to her.
