A Life Cut Short

On the evening of July 20, 2014, at approximately 9:40 PM, the life of 24-year-old Delonta Martin was tragically ended. He was fatally shot along the 4700 block of Minnesota Avenue, NE, in Washington, D.C. Despite the passage of time, his murder remains unsolved, leaving a void in his family and community.

The Night of the Incident

Details about the events leading up to the shooting are scarce. What is known is that Mr. Martin was found with gunshot wounds in a neighborhood that has experienced its share of violence.
