On December 6, 2009, the 24-year-old man was last seen walking on North Main Street near College Street. At the time he went missing, John, a white male with blond hair and blue eyes, stood at about five feet nine inches tall and weighed around 165 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a red checkered coat with a hood and blue jeans. John was living in a group home for adults at the time and was reported missing at 1:30 p.m. after leaving the residence on foot. His hair was cut in a short, spiked style, and he had no facial hair.
