Florence Shoemaker, a 76-year-old woman from Ravenna, Ohio, was last seen on February 3, 2003. Her disappearance is shrouded in mystery and is intertwined with the earlier vanishing of her ex-husband, Melvin Shoemaker, who went missing from his Parkman, Ohio home in April 1994. The couple had divorced in 1978, and Florence was living with their son, Glenn Roger Shoemaker, in Hiram Township at the time she was last seen.
