On a cold December day in 2011, 21-year-old Derrell Robert Sims, known to his loved ones as Rell, vanished from Detroit, Michigan, leaving behind a life that included a girlfriend and two young children. On December 11th, Derrell was at his best friend's house on the east side of Detroit. He left around 1:00 p.m., telling his friend he was on his way to a hospital to pick up another friend. This friend, his family believes, had been injured in an incident that Derrell was also involved in. ...
