In the early evening of December 18, 2012, a 22-year-old man named Dayton Ledonya Frazier was last seen in Renton, Washington. He was a young Black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing at approximately 5'6" and weighing around 150 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black North Face jacket, blue jeans, and white shoes. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance are distressing, as he made a troubling phone call to his girlfriend around 10:30 p.m., in which he expressed his intention to take his own life before ending the call. He has not been seen or heard from since that night. The days following Dayton's last contact only deepened the concern for his well-being. He was reported as a missing person when he did not show up for his job at Europa Sports Products, and it was discovered that he never collected his final paycheck. This was out of character and added to the growing fear that something terrible had happened. The search for Dayton began, but unfortunately, there were very few leads to follow. The lack of information and evidence made the investigation incredibly difficult for the Renton Police Department. His loved ones were left in a state of uncertainty, grappling with the painful reality that he may no longer be alive. The investigation into Dayton Frazier's disappearance has remained open, though the details available to the public are scarce. A significant point of concern was his state of mind at the time he went missing, as his final conversation suggested he was in emotional distress. This has led to the classification of his case as an endangered missing person. Despite the passage of time, the hope of finding answers for his family, including his infant son, has not diminished. The case serves as a somber reminder of the lasting impact a person's disappearance has on their community and the enduring pain experienced by those left behind. The Renton Police Department continues to be the primary agency investigating the case, holding onto the possibility that new information may one day surface and bring closure to Dayton's loved ones.
