Bessie Louise Haley Hyde, age 22, and her husband, Glen Hyde, disappeared while on a honeymoon rafting trip down the Green and Colorado Rivers in the fall of 1928. The couple was last definitively seen on November 18, 1928, after they had hiked out of the Grand Canyon to replenish their supplies.
