On January 25, 1967, 17-year-old Karen S. Williams and her 35-year-old mother, Lois Williams, vanished from their Indianapolis, Indiana apartment. Their disappearance was reported on February 9, 1967, by Lois's parents after they were unable to contact them for two weeks.
