On December 4, 2001, Christopher Nathan Shipley, an 18-year-old freshman at Kansas State University disappeared from Riley County, Kansas. He and two fellow KSU students, Kyle Chapman, 17, and Timothy Michael Bennett, 19, decided to go sailing on Tuttle Creek Lake after their classes.
