On the evening of December 2, 1970, 27-year-old Kenneth Edward Tank was last seen in the vicinity of Ralph's Corner Bar in downtown Moorhead, Minnesota. He had been dropped off at the bar at approximately 10 p.m. and was last seen leaving around 11 p.m., presumably to return to his home in Fargo, North Dakota, a short thirteen-minute drive away.
