Billie Junior Meyer, 55, was last seen on September 21, 1982, in Carrollton, Missouri. He and his son were embarking on a trip to Fremont, California, to visit his daughter. Prior to his disappearance, Meyer had a very upsetting phone conversation with his daughter. During the call, he expressed his distress upon learning that she had reconnected with her mother, who had left the family years earlier.
