In the winter of 2019, 41-year-old Ryan Richard Docherty was last seen in the Woodstock area of Ontario. His disappearance, however, would not be officially noted for several months. It wasn't until March 6, 2020, that a family member, having returned from a trip abroad and unable to make contact with him, reported him missing to the London Police Service. While it was reportedly not unusual for Ryan to go for extended periods without communicating with his family, the length of his silence on this occasion sparked genuine concern for his well-being among his loved ones and the authorities.

The London Police Service initiated an investigation and sought help from the public to locate Ryan. He is described as a Caucasian male, standing approximately 5'10' and weighing around 160 pounds with a slim build. At the time he was last seen, he had short black hair styled in a brush cut, hazel eyes, and a short goatee. Investigators also noted his distinctive tattoos in the hopes of someone recognizing him; the word 'Greed' is tattooed on the left side of his neck, and the name 'JODY' is written across the fingers of his left hand.

Despite the passage of time, the case of Ryan Richard Docherty remains an active and unresolved missing person investigation. The circumstances surrounding his initial disappearance in late December 2019 are still unclear, leaving his family with unanswered questions and a continued sense of worry. The fact that it was not immediately apparent he was missing has added a layer of complexity to the search. Authorities continue to appeal to the public for any information that might shed light on his whereabouts or the events leading up to his disappearance, holding out hope for a resolution that will bring peace to his family.

Last Seen: Dec 24, 2019
