Described as a Caucasian male, standing 5'8' and weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes, his familiar presence was a part of the local fabric. However, as the hours turned into evening with no sign of his return, concern mounted, and his family reported him missing later that same day.
The investigation into Melvin's whereabouts soon uncovered a series of poignant and perplexing clues. His blue Ford F-150 pickup truck was discovered abandoned on the MV Legionnaire, one of the ferries that travels between Portugal Cove and Bell Island.
