In the autumn of 2022, concern began to grow for 45-year-old Tommy Lemieux, a resident of Saint-Odilon-de-Cranbourne, Quebec. He was last seen on the evening of October 24, 2022, at a friend's home on 140th Street in the town of St-Georges. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 176 to 181 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. Distinctive features include several tattoos: a tribal pattern on his left calf, a star on his right hand, a tribal design near his right thumb, and various other designs on his left arm and the back of his neck. His loved ones grew worried as days passed with no word, prompting them to report him missing and leading to an official alert from the Sûreté du Québec. The investigation into Tommy's whereabouts intensified when his vehicle, a white-beige 2010 Kia Soul, was discovered abandoned a few days after he was last seen. The car was found on October 28 behind a commercial building on Boulevard Lacroix in St-Georges, several days after his last confirmed sighting. This discovery prompted an extensive search operation in the surrounding area. The Sûreté du Québec established a command post nearby and deployed numerous resources in an effort to find him. Search teams on foot and on all-terrain vehicles scoured the area, while a drone was used to survey from above. The search efforts were methodical and wide-ranging, reflecting the serious concerns for his safety. As the search continued into the following week, authorities expanded their methods in the hopes of uncovering any clue that might lead to Tommy. A road checkpoint was set up on Boulevard Lacroix to appeal to the public for any new information. In a more unusual step, specialized technicians were brought in to inspect underground drainage systems in the vicinity of where his car was found. Despite these exhaustive efforts, the search did not yield any immediate results in locating him. The mystery of his disappearance deepened, leaving his family and community in a state of painful uncertainty. The case remains open, and the circumstances surrounding his vanishing are still unclear as no financial or social media activity has been reported since he was last seen.
