The search was exhaustive, employing police dogs, aircraft, boats, dragging equipment, and divers who scoured the lake's depths. Despite the comprehensive and prolonged search, not a single clue as to Kimberley's whereabouts was ever discovered. The passing decades have not yielded any answers, and the case has grown cold, leaving the fate of the young girl a painful and unanswered question for her family and the community.
