In the fall of 2025, a sense of concern grew for 35-year-old Loren T. Ciceri, a man who had been a transient resident of the Port Angeles, Washington area for about two years. On the evening of November 18, 2025, Loren borrowed a motorcycle from a friend with the intention of meeting another friend at the Elwha River, a popular local spot.
