On a late September day in 2017, the kind of day that holds the first crisp hint of autumn in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, 50-year-old Brian Scott Jacobson vanished from his home in Iron Mountain. A resident of West Ludington Street, Brian was a man of simple routines and known whereabouts to his friends and neighbors.
