On July 4, 2021, 25-year-old John Jacob Freday was last seen in the Cape Horn area of Concrete, a town in Skagit County, Washington. He had reportedly gotten a ride from a female friend with the intention of picking up a paycheck in the nearby town of Marblemount. However, John never made it to his destination and has not been seen or heard from since. At the time he went missing, John was described as being transient, without a cell phone or his own vehicle.
