On August 12, 1989, 49-year-old Jeffry Anson Herberg was last heard from in Las Vegas, Nevada. The last known communication from Herberg was a postcard mailed to his daughter, in which he stated he was moving out of his Las Vegas apartment. Since then, there has been no contact with family or friends, and his whereabouts remain unknown. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department opened an investigation into his disappearance on September 2, 1989.
