On June 16, 1989, 33-year-old Michele R. Green was last seen in Soldotna, Alaska, before she became one of four people to disappear in a plane crash into the Cook Inlet. The aircraft was returning from a bible camp located at Port Alsworth when it reportedly ran out of fuel over the water. Michele was traveling with fellow passengers Janelle Gerlitz, William Johnson, and Tara Wetzel at the time of the incident.
