Douglas E. Cundiff, a 33-year-old man from Soldotna, Alaska, has been missing since April 27, 1989. He was one of four crew members who disappeared when their fishing vessel, the Legend, sank near Cape Douglas in the treacherous waters of southwest Cook Inlet. Extensive searches of the area following the incident were unsuccessful in locating Cundiff or his fellow crewmen.
