On March 6, 1989, 34-year-old Melvin Dennis Washington, also known as "Bo," spoke with his sister on the phone between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He told her he was on his way to his mother's house in West Philadelphia to visit his daughters. However, Melvin never arrived at his mother's residence and has not been seen or heard from since. His case was officially reported to the Philadelphia Police Department on March 29, 1989.
