Christopher Mark Loennig, a 26-year-old man, was last seen on November 16, 1986, in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. At the time of his disappearance, he was working on a boat and was in the process of retrieving buoy bags when he was struck and knocked overboard into the water. Rescue efforts were launched but were ultimately unsuccessful in locating and saving him. Loennig was wearing rain gear and rain boots at the time of the incident. His case is classified as a suspected accident.
