John Sparks, a 47-year-old resident of Kodiak, Alaska, was last seen on August 13, 1986. On that day, Sparks was aboard the 36-foot fishing vessel, the F/V Shadrach, near the end of Whale Pass in the Kodiak Island Borough. He reportedly fell overboard and has not been seen since. At the time of his disappearance, he was presumed to be deceased. The Alaska State Troopers are the investigating agency in this case.
