Joseph Morten Amble, 22, was last seen on August 6, 1985, in Ketchikan, Alaska. A resident of Hastings, Minnesota, Amble disappeared while hiking on Deer Mountain. He had set out for a hike and never returned home. Extensive searches and investigations have not yielded any conclusive evidence regarding his whereabouts, and his case remains unsolved. He is now presumed to be deceased.
At the time of his disappearance, Amble was 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed approximately 189 pounds.
