On August 28, 1984, 11-year-old Mark Littleford, also known as Mark Philip Osborne Littleford, disappeared in the vicinity of Iliamna Lake, Alaska. He is presumed to have drowned in the mouth of Iliamna Bay. At the time of his disappearance, Mark was with his father, Dr. Phil Littleford. The incident occurred after a small seaplane they were on crashed and capsized in the icy waters.
