On the morning of October 30, 2014, 17-year-old Matthew Parker was shot in the chest at his home on Northeast Bristol Drive in Lees-Summit, Missouri. A single gunshot ended his life at the scene despite a 911 call; no ethnicity was reported. Witnesses saw two men fleeing in a white Ford Focus and police later recovered Parker’s cellphone from a storm drain.

Investigators say the visit began as an attempt to buy marijuana but escalated into robbery. Two 21-year-olds, Trevaris Rachel and Jalen Randolph, were identified as the men who went to the house, allegedly discussed robbing Parker beforehand, and forced him to hand over cash and drugs. As they left, a shot was fired that killed Parker. Both suspects were arrested and charged with second-degree murder, first-degree robbery, and armed criminal action; Trevaris Rachel later pleaded guilty and received a 22-year sentence.

Does anyone have information about those who were in that neighborhood that morning or recalls seeing a white Ford Focus near Northeast Bristol Drive?
