In the early morning hours of May 3, 2019, 23-year-old Ezquiel Estrich was found inside an apartment at the Fairview Gardens complex in Anderson, South Carolina, with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and leg. He and 18-year-old Margaret Blanding, who was pregnant, were both pronounced dead at the scene; the Anderson County Coroner’s Office ruled their deaths homicides and the unborn child also died in the incident.

Police responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 1 a.m. and observed a vehicle fleeing the complex. A pursuit crossed into Hart County, Georgia, where deputies stopped the vehicle and took two Anderson men into custody. Authorities identified them as 21-year-old Brandon Omar Cullins and 31-year-old Demetrius Kentrell Mark. Cullins was charged with two counts of murder, death or bodily injury to a child in utero during a violent crime, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and failure to stop for a blue light; Mark was charged with accessory after the fact, accused of helping dispose of the handgun. Investigators said both men admitted involvement.

Does anyone have information about Ezquiel’s movements that night or about the Fairview Gardens complex around that time?
