Arthur Lee Myers was 27 when he was fatally shot on Taylor Street in North Charleston, South Carolina, in spring 2016. The shooting was described as involving a shootout, and the North Charleston Police Department initially treated the scene as chaotic while piecing together what happened.
Investigators identified a person of interest early in the inquiry who was believed to have been present and sought for questioning. A suspect was later arrested in connection with the fatal shooting, a development that moved the case into the legal process that could clarify responsibility for Myers’ death.
Arthur’s family and the community were left to grieve and ask how such violence occurred on a quiet neighborhood street. If anyone has information about the shooting on Taylor Street in spring 2016, please share what you know.
