On New Year’s Eve 2019 a burst of gunfire in Halethorpe, Maryland, left two people dead. Brea Sade Mitchell, 23, and 25-year-old Antwan Xavier Jones were found with gunshot wounds to their upper bodies in the 4100 block of Twin Circle Way. A call came in around 9:30 p.m., and both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Neighbors said they first mistook the shots for firecrackers; at least one nearby home showed bullet holes. Baltimore County homicide detectives opened an investigation and appealed for anyone with security camera footage or witness information to come forward.

There have been no publicly announced arrests or identified suspects in the killings. Does anyone who lived in the area that night or who has footage from nearby cameras have information that could help these families?
