A winter 2016 gathering on the 6700 block of James Farmer Way in Seat Pleasant, Maryland, ended with 19-year-old Marcus Fogg of Capitol Heights struck by a gunshot. Responding Prince George’s County officers found Fogg wounded; he was taken to Prince George’s Hospital and died shortly after arrival. The Homicide Unit took over the investigation. Several people who had been inside the house left the scene before officers arrived, and police asked the public for help, offering a $25,000 reward for information that could lead to an arrest. Detectives identified 19-year-old Sammie Warren of Oxon Hill as the person responsible for the shooting; Warren was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter, a charge that indicates investigators did not view the shooting as premeditated.

Did anyone at the gathering or in the neighborhood see what happened that night or have information that could fill in the timeline leading to Marcus Fogg’s death?
