I've been following Faith's case closely, and I want to touch on her incredible impact at Everett Alvarez High School. As someone who's lived in Salinas my whole life, it struck a chord how much she meant to her students and colleagues. I remember hearing stories from parents at local gatherings who would speak so highly of her dedication to the cheerleading squad. They mentioned her as a mentor who was always willing to go the extra mile to help students, whether it was with routines or just listening to their personal problems. Her absence is deeply felt, not just by her family, but by everyone whose lives she touched at the school. I can't even begin to imagine the void left in that community and the lasting impression her kindness and enthusiasm have had on those young lives. May we continue to support her family and bring awareness to the signs of toxic relationships, so such tragedies can hopefully be prevented in the future.
