Valeria Guadalupe García Cruz, 20, was fatally shot outside her Tracy, California, home on June 3, 2021, as she returned from work. Her brother, Jesus Garcia Cruz, was also shot and killed that same morning; their father was wounded by a gunshot to the leg. Both Valeria and Jesus suffered four gunshot wounds each and Valeria died at the scene.

Authorities identified the suspected gunman as Valeria’s ex-boyfriend, Allenray Calamba, who reportedly ambushed her with a semi-automatic pistol and fired when family members came outside. Calamba survived a self-inflicted chest wound and was taken into custody. He was charged with two counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances and one count of attempted, willful, deliberate, and premeditated murder for the attack on the father.

Valeria is remembered as a young mother who left behind a son; her family sought community support after the shootings. Does anyone have information about Valeria, Jesus, or that neighborhood scene on June 3, 2021?
