Just read about the arrest of Noah Arath Buenrostro-Quartaro in connection to Gustavo Morales' tragic death, and I can't get over how young both of them are. At just 21, Gustavo had his whole life ahead of him, and now, due to a senseless act, it's all gone. It's distressing to see these young lives being devoured by violence. I'm particularly interested in whether anyone from the community has seen an increase in gang activity or tensions in the area prior to this tragedy? Because if gang involvement is even a remote factor here, shouldn’t preventive measures have been ramped up sooner? I feel for Gustavo's family - losing a loved one so suddenly is unimaginable. Community input could be significant in helping authorities piece together the puzzle. Thoughts with everyone touched by this - hoping for strength and healing in the days ahead.
