It's incredibly painful to think about how a young life was lost so senselessly. I came across Randy's case recently, and something that stood out to me was how easily he was identified due to his height. It makes you realize how little details can have such devastating consequences in these situations. Imagine just walking with a friend in your own neighborhood, not knowing that this simple outing would be your last. I can't even begin to imagine the terror and confusion they both felt in that moment as a car rolled up with ill intentions. There’s something profoundly wrong when a young man can't even walk down his own street without fear. And it breaks my heart even more that the suspects remain unidentified. I pray for Randy’s family, and especially for his parents, Sandra and Noel, as they seek answers and justice for their son. If there’s anyone out there who knows something, even the smallest detail, please think of the Martinez family and reach out to the authorities. Every bit of information can make a significant difference.
