I still can't comprehend the senselessness of Isaac's murder. He was just 20 years old, trying to make a simple sale, and his life was taken away in such a tragic way. Meeting someone to sell jewelry should not end in violence. It's scary to think how a normal day can turn into a nightmare because of the actions of others. The bravery of his friend shouldn't go unnoticed. He must have been in sheer panic, yet he managed to drive Isaac to the church, hoping to get help. It's awful that despite all efforts, Isaac couldn't be saved. I can’t stop thinking about the impact this must have on Isaac's family and friends. Knowing those responsible have been caught gives some sense of justice, but nothing will bring him back. Covina has always seemed like a safe place, so this is a wake-up call for all of us. I hope people continue to come forward with information and support, as this community doesn’t need any more tragedies.
