I was looking through some old articles and came across the case of Ryan Thomas Sniffin. It’s just awful to think about how a young life was cut short due to a failed drug deal. I can't imagine the pain his family is still going through, especially knowing that Ryan's own cousin was involved in setting up the meeting that led to his death. It's such a chilling reminder of how trust can be so easily betrayed, even within close family. I’m curious to hear how others feel about the influence of people’s upbringing or past environments (like juvenile hall, in this case) on their decisions. Can we really blame the environment, or should we be holding these individuals accountable, despite their circumstances? My heart goes out to everyone affected by this.
