Has anyone looked into the background check on the type of utility truck Syed stole after shooting Jeremy Lewis? It seems like such an eclectic choice if his aim was just to carjack a vehicle for escape. From what I've read, these trucks can carry some pretty specific equipment that might've been a factor in his decision. Did law enforcement chase any leads about why he might've specifically targeted this vehicle, or was it just coincidental? I cannot imagine how devastating this is for Jeremy’s family and friends to not only lose him this way but in such a senseless manner. It's terrifying to think how random and unpredictable life can be sometimes.
