Just came across this case, and it's so unsettling to think about how calculated these attacks were. James Moon was just doing his job, and to be ambushed like that in such a violent manner is simply terrifying. It's baffling how Loot and Millsap could commit so many crimes with such cruelty. I can't imagine the kind of fear and panic that those working in the armored car industry must have felt during this time. Sending strength to James Moon’s family and the loved ones of the other victims affected by this horrible series of events. It's a grim reminder of how dangerous some jobs can be and how important it is to appreciate the people who take on these risks every day.
I've been thinking a lot about James Moon and the unimaginable horror his family must have felt when they lost him in such a violent way. I read somewhere that his coworkers at the armored car company described him as someone with an infectious smile and a kind heart. It’s just so cruel that such a genuinely good person could be taken in an act of such senseless violence.
Does anyone else find it chilling how these kinds of crimes reveal such a dark side of humanity? Moon was out there just doing his job, probably getting ready for the weekend or planning time with family, completely unaware of the danger looming. It puts into perspective how fragile life can be and how acts of violence impact countless lives beyond just the immediate victims.
I hope James's family has found some solace in the fact that Kendrick Loot and Bruce Millsap were brought to justice. But honestly, can there ever really be enough justice to ease the pain of losing a loved one so senselessly? It’s a stark reminder to hold our loved ones close and maybe even work a bit harder to put more kindness into the world to counteract such evil.
