Guadalupe Pineda Salinas, an 18-year-old Hispanic woman born January 25, 2002, was fatally shot on November 5, 2020, in Lehigh Acres, Florida. A lifelong Lee County resident, she had graduated from Dunbar High School in May 2020 and planned to study business management at Florida SouthWestern State College. Family and friends remembered her for dancing, singing, drawing and her close family ties.

On the night she died Guadalupe and a friend were approached by 19-year-old Raymundo Estrada, who attempted to rob them. When they resisted, Estrada shot at them; Guadalupe was killed. Estrada was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, attempted robbery and shooting into an occupied conveyance; he later pled guilty and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Her family described her as a beautiful spirit and a treasured friend whose loss left a lasting void. If anyone knew Guadalupe or has information about that night, please share what you can.
