I've been following the Joseph Surace case and something that's been on my mind is the role of surveillance footage in solving crimes like this. It’s eerie to think how many moments leading up to that tragic night were captured on video. In this situation, the footage was crucial in piecing together the confrontation between Joseph and Ruddy Germain. It’s amazing to see technology assisting law enforcement, but it must also be chilling for the victim’s family to see those last moments unfold on screen. Sending love to Joseph’s loved ones as they deal with the fallout of this tragedy. It's a stark reminder of how fragile life can be, especially for those living on the streets.
