Raul Ambriz Guillen, 51, was murdered on July 4, 2020, in Graceville, Florida. His daughter, Rosa Ambriz, reported him missing after losing contact on July 2, 2020. Guillen had recently lost his job and had been staying with friends in Alabama and Florida; his car was later found ransacked at a mechanic shop in Houston County, Alabama.

Investigators determined Guillen was last seen at the home of Jermaine Odell Peters in Graceville. Nearly two months later his body was found in a shallow grave; an autopsy confirmed death from a single gunshot wound to the back of the head. Authorities linked the motive to drugs and money.

Three people were charged in connection with the killing. William Shane Parker was convicted of second-degree murder and identified as the shooter; his trial included testimony that he fired while fireworks were set off to mask the gunshot. Jermaine Odell Peters was convicted as an accessory after the fact to second-degree murder with a firearm and of conspiracy to tamper with a witness, receiving a 20-year sentence. Lauren Wambles was sentenced to 10 years as an accessory after the fact to second-degree murder with a firearm.

Did anyone in Graceville or nearby communities know Raul, his movements in late June 2020, or have information about his contacts at Peters’s residence?
