I’ve been thinking about the details surrounding the Magnuson Hotel shooting where Jerrell Billy Tomlin lost his life. One aspect I can’t shake is the time of day this happened. Early morning around 7:45 a.m. isn’t exactly a typical time one would expect something like this to occur. It makes me wonder if there was a particular reason Jerrell was outside the hotel room so early. Was he meeting someone? Was there a disturbance before that led him out? I truly feel for his family and loved ones. They deserve answers, and it’s frustrating to think how elusive they can be sometimes, especially when time passes without closure. I hope anyone with even the slightest piece of information finds the courage to speak up. Sometimes it only takes one key detail to piece everything together. Keeping Jerrell’s family in my thoughts as they continue to wait for justice.
