Has anyone else looked into the impact on Lisa Knight's husband, Patrick? I can't imagine the trauma he must have gone through, not just losing his wife and unborn child but also experiencing such a horrific event first-hand and then having to deal with a lengthy recovery after waking from a three-month coma. Survivor's guilt must be an enormous burden here. It's a reminder of how the effects of violence ripple outward, impacting not just those who are killed but everyone who loves them. It makes me wonder what kind of support systems are in place for people like Patrick — he deserves all the compassion and help he can get as he tries to piece his life back together. ?
